12th -  University Ave Corridor Study - OPEN HOUSE 4:30pm to 6:30pm at Carver Community School (705 E University Ave, Des Moines, IA 50316) focus on change to University Ave between 9th St and E. 14th
14th - KINA & MPNA General Meeting 6pm at Reichardt Community Recreation Center (RCRC) 915 College Ave, kickoff in new location

16th – Head Trauma Awareness Event – Free bike helmets (while supply lasts) 11:00am to 2:00pm at Broadlawns Medical Center – Building 1 parking lot 1761 Hickman Road, Des Moines Iowa. Free treats and more
16th - Chautauqua Park Garden Party at Chautauqua Neighborhood Park
18th  -  7:30am DM City Council Working Meeting on proposed budget cuts including closing Forest Ave Library and more hits to our neighborhoods.  The council is meeting  to discuss at 1200 Locust at the new DM City Hall building.

2nd - Chautauqua Park General Meeting and Food Drive at 1922 Chautauqua Pkwy
4th - Last Day of School for Des Moines Public Schools
5th - KINA Safe Summer Kickoff (SSKO) at Evelyn K Davis Park 1400 Forest Ave, 5pm-7pm. 
Free food, family fun, activities and sign-up for summer events and jobs
11th - KINA & MPNA General Meeting 6pm at Reichardt Community Recreation Center (RCRC) 915 College Ave
